About Us

The Dabang Smashers Table Tennis Club, champions the cause of showcasing India's talent in Table Tennis through an exciting and competitive league - Ultimate Table Tennis. UTT is India's best pro league in table tennis and it gives India’s most sought after, young table tennis players a chance of competing with the world’s best under one roof.

The glory of winning 7 out of the 8 medals at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth games, has made Manika Batra and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran household names.

The Smashers take a lot of pride in having both these athletes on our team.

We have also roped in two of the biggest names from Japanese table tennis, Yoshida Masaki and Sakura Mori, along with the experienced, Belgian Cedric Nuytinck. Adriana Diaz from Puerto Rico (a 17-year-old prodigy with a senior title under her belt) joins the squad to make an exhilarating team that is entertaining to watch and at the top of the game in terms of performance.

Young and upcoming stars such as Sanish Ambekar and Archana Kamath complete the Smashers' squad making us the best team in the league, thorough sheer talent.

The team will be coached by Sachin Shetty and the Romanian, Andrei Filimon. The duo boast of a rich coaching experience at the National and International level. Sachin successfully led the Indian team to a Silver and a Bronze medal finish at the Indian Open 2013 while Andrei ushered Romania to win the Olympic and European Championships in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
